I never believed, but sometimes I do stuff just for fun, like I have about 20 4-leaved clovers in a "lucky" stained-glass jar, and a horseshoe over my back door. But once I saw a black cat cross the road in front of my house and the car stopped and sat there for like 5 minutes until another car drove around it. I found it sadly amusing.Also, religion could be a type of superstition depending on how you look at it. If you don't throw spilled salt over your shoulder you'll have bad luck, if you don't pray and do this and this and this you'll be damned/thrust down to hell/ be reincarnated as a cockroach, whatever. Sounds the same to me (and I am religious, but can't help noticing.....)
